Fantastic book!
This is the book I've been waiting for for so long!! I loved the other 2 so I had pretty high expectations for Uncounted, but it did not disappoint! The book explores a society dictated by the Code, a moral technology which assigns rules, career roles and lifespan lengths for the better good of the society. But when the Code begins to falter, the perfection of the Code is questioned. In Uncounted, Ry searches for a way to stop the malfunctioning Code while everything she grew up being told is truth is called into question. The book will challenge how you think about society, the individual and the role of technology and what our future might involve.
It's a perfect series for teens, young adults or adults who love the dystopian genre but don't necessarily want all the violence or gore. But don't think this book isn't packed with plot twists, complex societies and very well developed characters! Cullen created very believable characters with their own unique traits and flaws and profoundly human emotions, problems and experiences.
Fantastic end to one of my new favourite series!
